Terms of service
Last updated November 6, 2026
WinOggi runs free contests at winoggi.com and in the WinOggi apps for iPhone and Android. These terms cover your use of all of them. By creating an account or entering a contest, you agree to these terms, the official rules and the rules shown on each contest. If a contest's rules differ from these terms, the contest's rules apply to that contest.
Who can use WinOggi
You must be 18 or older and a legal resident of Canada or the United States. Contests are void where prohibited by law. Each person may have one account, and each account belongs to one email address.
Your account
There are no passwords. You sign in with a one-time code sent to your email, so keep your inbox secure: anyone who can read it can sign in as you. You are responsible for what happens on your account. You can sign out of every device, or delete your account, at any time in settings.
Entering contests
- Entering is free. No purchase is necessary, and buying something won't help you win.
- You may enter each contest once. Your entry is worth 1 ticket.
- When you enter, you get one throw of a coin at a moving ring. Landing it adds 1 bonus ticket. Missing still enters you with 1 ticket. The result is decided by our server, the same way for everyone.
- Opening WinOggi on consecutive days collects spare tickets: 1 a day, and 5 on every seventh day in a row. You can add them to contests you have entered, up to 10 per contest. Missing a day starts the streak over.
- When someone new joins with your invite link and makes their first entry, you get 5 bonus tickets in that contest, as long as you have entered it too.
- Tickets, spare tickets and bonuses have no cash value. They can't be sold, transferred or exchanged, and they end when your account does. We may change how they are earned for the future, but we won't take away tickets already in a contest.
Prizes and draws
Some prizes need a minimum number of people to enter before they unlock. If a contest closes without reaching it, no prize is awarded.
When a contest closes, the winner is drawn at random, weighted by tickets, using a cryptographically secure random number generator. Each draw publishes a receipt on the contest page, including a SHA-256 fingerprint of every ticket in the draw, so anyone can check it wasn't changed afterward. Odds depend on how many tickets are in the draw.
Winning and claiming
- We tell winners by email and in WinOggi.
- Before a prize is awarded, the winner must correctly answer a timed, mathematical skill-testing question without help. Canadian law requires this.
- Winners must claim within the window shown on the contest and give accurate delivery details. A prize that isn't claimed in time, or whose skill-testing question is answered wrong, is forfeited and drawn again.
- Prizes are awarded as described. They can't be exchanged for cash unless the sponsor allows it. If a prize becomes unavailable, we or the sponsor may substitute one of equal or greater value. Gift cards follow their issuer's terms.
- Winners are responsible for any taxes on their prize.
- If you win, we show your display name on the contest. Without one, you appear as "A lucky winner". We never show your email address.
Disqualification
We may void entries, tickets or wins, and close accounts, if we reasonably believe someone has broken these terms or a contest's rules. That includes using more than one account, inviting yourself, entering with scripts, bots or other automation, tampering with the throw or the draw, giving false information, or any other fraud. If a winner is disqualified, the prize is drawn again.
Changes to contests
If a contest can't run as planned because of fraud, a technical failure or anything else outside our control, we may change, pause or cancel it. Where the law allows, we may then award the prize by drawing from the eligible entries received before the problem began.
Sponsors
Brands sponsor many contests, and WinOggi administers them. The sponsor is named on each contest. Apple and Google are not sponsors of, or involved in, any WinOggi contest.
Code of conduct
When using WinOggi, you agree not to:
- create more than one account, or use someone else's;
- use automation to sign in, enter, throw or collect tickets;
- probe, overload or interfere with WinOggi, or try to get around its limits or security;
- choose a display name that is offensive, misleading or belongs to someone else, or that includes contact details or links;
- use WinOggi for anything unlawful.
We may change a display name that breaks these rules.
Ownership
The WinOggi name, logo, website, apps and their content belong to WinOggi. Sponsors' names and logos belong to them. You may use WinOggi for your own personal use, and you may share contest and invite links.
Other websites
WinOggi links to sponsors' websites and other sites we don't control. We aren't responsible for their content, policies or practices.
Disclaimer and limitation of liability
WinOggi is provided as is and as available. We work to keep it running and fair, but we don't promise it will always be available or free of errors.
To the extent the law allows, WinOggi and its sponsors are not responsible for lost, late or incomplete entries; email that doesn't arrive; technical failures of any kind; or any indirect or consequential loss arising from WinOggi or a prize. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be limited by agreement.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date, and tell you in WinOggi or by email if a change is significant. Using WinOggi after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Disputes go to the courts of Toronto, Ontario, unless the law where you live gives you the right to bring them elsewhere. If any part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.
