Privacy policy

Last updated November 6, 2026

We collect what we need to run fair contests and get prizes to winners, and nothing more. We don't sell your information, we don't show ads, and we don't use advertising or analytics trackers.

What we collect

  • Your account. Your email address, and a display name if you choose one.
  • What you do in contests. Your entries and tickets, your throw (the direction and speed of your flick, which decides the bonus ticket), your daily streak and spare tickets, and who invited you or joined with your link.
  • If you win. The details you give to claim the prize: your full name, the email to send it to, and, when the prize needs them, your phone number and mailing address. We also record your answer to the skill-testing question.
  • Technical details. When you sign in, your IP address and the kind of browser or device you use. Our servers also keep short-lived logs of requests (the page or action, the time and the result) to keep WinOggi running and fast.

How we use it

  • to sign you in and keep you signed in;
  • to run contests: count tickets, apply bonuses, draw winners and publish receipts;
  • to check winners' eligibility and deliver prizes;
  • to send the email that comes with using WinOggi: sign-in codes, news that you won, and prize delivery updates;
  • to stop fraud and abuse, such as duplicate accounts and automated entries;
  • to fix problems and make WinOggi faster.

We don't send marketing email.

What other people can see

If you win, your display name appears on the contest. Without one, you appear as "A lucky winner". Contest pages show how many people entered and the draw receipt. The receipt includes a SHA-256 fingerprint of every ticket, which proves the draw wasn't changed but doesn't reveal who entered. We never show your email address.

Who we share it with

  • Sponsors, if you win their prize. Only what's needed to deliver it, such as your name, delivery email and mailing address.
  • Service providers who run WinOggi for us. Google Cloud hosts our website, servers, database and logs. Postmark delivers our email. They may use your information only to provide their service to us.
  • When the law requires it, or to protect people from fraud or harm.
  • A successor, if WinOggi is sold or merged. This policy would still apply to your information.

We don't sell or rent personal information, and we don't share it for advertising.

Where it's stored

Your information is stored on Google Cloud in the United States. While it's there, it is subject to United States law, and courts and authorities there may be able to access it.

Cookies and device storage

The website sets one cookie, which keeps you signed in. The apps keep the same kind of sign-in token in your device's secure storage (Keychain on iPhone, Keystore on Android). If you arrive through an invite link, your browser remembers the invite code for 30 days so your friend gets credit when you join. There are no advertising or analytics cookies.

How long we keep it

  • Sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes and are deleted within a day.
  • You stay signed in on a device for up to 90 days, or 30 days without using it. Then the session is deleted.
  • Entries, tickets and draws are kept as a permanent record, so every draw stays checkable.
  • When you delete your account, we remove your email address, display name and any prize claim details right away, and sign you out everywhere. Your past entries stay in the draw records without anything that identifies you.

Your choices and rights

You can change your display name or delete your account in settings. To get a copy of your information, correct it, or ask a question about how it's handled, email hello@winoggi.com. We'll reply within 30 days. Depending on where you live, privacy law may give you more rights, and you can complain to your privacy regulator, such as the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

WinOggi has no passwords to steal. Sign-in codes and session tokens are stored only as one-way hashes. All traffic is encrypted, the database sits on a private network, and access is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, so if something goes wrong, we'll tell affected people as the law requires.

Children

WinOggi is for people 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger. If you believe a minor has an account, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We'll post any update here with a new date, and tell you in WinOggi or by email if a change is significant.
